Black Lotus Malty, Hoppy Goodness Saves the Day

Our informational meeting at Black Lotus Brewery last Thursday was a resounding success. And by resounding success I mean that one grower came, one possible grower’s girlfriend showed up, Jay talked to everyone in the bar (twice) and Meghan drank beers. However, our mustachioed message was heard by many and hopefully some of them are here checking us out. We aren’t taking the low turn out too hard though; we’re assuming that it’s a result of everyone being too well informed.
Those of you that couldn’t make it don’t know what you missed, the beer really is great. I reccomend getting there for the birthday brew before it’s gone.

Mustaches for Kids Chicago wishes you well. Last year we challenged the newly founded Houston chapter to a fundraiser off. We of course kicked their staches, but it was secretly our attempt to help motivate the Houston Growers.
